Most of my YouTube videos are highly improvised. I never know much in advance, so I just shoot what I can get. The more footage, the better. It wasn’t any different on the final DTM weekend, except that even that just wasn’t enough. There are interesting story threads to be told in parallel. But by adding a lot of original TV footage and with some additional voice-over by yours truly, this turned out to become quite a nice documentary from three different perspectives about a historic event: the final race of Mercedes-Benz after 30 years of DTM. And at well over 2 hours of duration it has also become an epic one.
